1992 town car - how do i wire a switch to control converter lock up as in later models?

The connector from the transmission has the wire in it that controls the converter lock up. You will need a wiring diagram to determine which wire it is - then simply splice the wire into a switch - switch off, no lockup - switch on, normal operation.


Note: In all likelihood, this will set a fault code and illuminate the ';check engine'; light.
