The Continental Marks came with cruise control standard after 1972. It was an option on the '72 Mark IV and then was standard on Marks after that. It was certainly standard on the '79 Mark V.





The cruise usually would not engage below 25 mph as the other answerer indicated and that was for safety reasons.
