to temporarily unlock a channel you must use the original remote and press '9' and 'quick view' at the same time. This works until you change the channel or input. To remove the channel lock feature, hit 'menu' select 'channel lock' select 'channel lock off'. The display will ask for code, hit '9' and 'quick view' at the same time. This will work until the channel lock is turned on again. To remove the lock then go into the menu, select channel lock, put the channel lock 'on'. It will ask for a new code. put in a easy one (0000, 1234, etc). press enter then select 'locked out' press cancel to remove the channel lock on that channel. Repeat as necessary for all locked channels and inputs. press menu twice to return to normal.
